In the infinite spectrum of human emotion, fondness is a Macaque favorite. And, as the old adage goes: Absence makes the heart grow fonder- which is something we’re counting on!

Those who enjoy Macaque:
We are announcing a short break from performing to write new songs for us all to enjoy!
This Fall is presenting new challenges for the members of Macaque as well as cultivating the myriad of interests a couple of Monkey girls like ourselves engage in from time to time. We know you all are a good-looking, talented bunch- feel free to let us know what you’re up to as well!

In the meantime, we will keep you posted about new tracks, ideas, and adventures. We leave you with these stunning pictures of us performing at the elegant Gramercy Theater along with Apollo Heights and Mirror Mirror.

with hearts and fondness,

Chris + Evers

Why, hello there pretty/hansome!

We got a last minute show and it promises to be a real doozy!

The Village Voice is presenting a series highlighting emerging talent and, as it turns out, we are emerging to be very talented indeed.

We’ll be rocking out on a bill that includes: The Apollo Heights, The Classic Futures, and Mirror Mirror.

Should be an interesting show!

Show starts at 8 and it is FREE if you get there between 7-8pm. Discount tickets for $5 available here: (link)

Otherwise, it’s $8.

We’re playing at a real classy joint this time, no beer and piss all over the place, how cool is that?! (actually, we’ll kinda miss the beer and piss.)

Where: Blender Theatre at Grammercy: 127 East 23rd Street
New York, NY 10010

When: Wednesday 8/20 8PM (we should be on around 830/9)

Sponsored by the Village Voice and Live Nation

Macaque had the distinct pleasure of playing Andy D’s farewell show at Glasslands. It was a righteous celebration of the D. He’ll be missed. *sniff.
